Final Paper - Ji Eun Kim

Geotagging is definitely in its infancy, and people are trying to figure out how to use it without the creepy factor.  It will be interesting as you note to see how the social networking systems, like the walled gardens in Japan, will take advantage of this capability.  The sense of lacking privacy and easy automaticity from geotagging will certainly impact how people use it.  I can see how it may also potentially render current badge systems useless if some people start adding so many more content items (attributions) while others remain slow to add.
